I'm a supporter of digitalizing Florida property deeds and home titles using distributed ledger technology and Blockchain. Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) would be an amazing technology for this application.
Reviving the

The covid shut down forced companies to become more globally connected using technology, therefore, thousands of local jobs became remote. Our young generation is now entering a global workforce arena, it is crucial that we lay the groundwork, educating them to become more competitive. I will leverage my knowledge and connections throughout the years to position Florida at the cutting edge of blockchain and bitcoin technology bringing high-paying jobs to the area.

THE GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY FOR FLORIDA
Web 3.0 is the golden opportunity for Floridians to be part of an emerging technology and the epicenter of innovation. To understand what web 3.0 is, one must first understand what web 1.0 and web 2.0 are. Web 1.0 was the beginning of the World Wide Web, you could read and browse the internet but it was a one way exchange of data. Web 2.0 was early-2000's, when companies like Facebook, Amazon, Twitter and Google emerged and made it easier to connect making the internet a two way exchange of data where users could also share information. These companies became centralized monopolies capturing most of the monetary value and capitalizing on constant value added by the users. Web 3.0 is the next major phase in the evolution of the internet, where users become owners and can participate in the creation, governance and operation of decentralized, censorship resistance protocols.

Every day there are more of us and less of them. Millions of gallons of wastewater are being spilled in the bay every month. As a fourth-generation fisherman, fishing is my passion and I will fiercely defend our waters.

About
Jarib Figueredo 33-year-old who grew up in Cuba under Fidel Castro’s communist regime. Jarib and his family suffered persecution in Cuba due to their Christian religious views and for not being part of the communist party. Jarib had to work since he was 10 years old to help support his family by selling lemons on the streets of Cuba. From an early age, Jarib learned to turn his struggles into achievements and he became a tenacious entrepreneur. He emigrated legally to the US in 2006 with nothing but a change of clothes and one Cuban peso.
In 2010, he graduated as a Surgical Technician, climbed the corporate ladder in a payroll company, and later left to open his own payroll software startup business. He is now financially independent and living proof that the American Dream is still alive. In no other country in the world is his story even possible. Jarib feels he owes a debt to those that came before him and is looking to use his tenacious personality to serve his country.
